The day before, Zack and John had worked out a pretty mando/fiddle duet for "Bull At The Wagon", an old-time fiddler's reel from the southwest. We decided to pair it with "Cherokee Shuffle" and give a test drive during our Saturday night set.

There is a place that opened near my house that has a bunch of old arcade games including this one. I tried sitting in that spot but Clyde found me after about a minute. That really bummed me out. I was really looking forward to making a run through the whole thing. Maybe it works on some machines and it doesn't on others.
I like how in the transcribed version you go up to the open G string right before the final G-run. To me, this one note is coolly emblematic of Tony’s style. Many players ignore it because It requires some string skipping to get there, but it makes a big difference, at least to me. Things like this made Tony what he was.
